Day 1: Arrive in San José
Our representative will meet you at the international airport and will take you to your hotel in Sarapiquí. Upon arrival at San Jose International, you will be given a welcome kit that will contain vouchers, maps, and other reading material, you may also take advantage of your driver and ask him any question you may have about your services. Sarapiqui is located near to the caribbean side of Costa Rica, a region where you can find tropical rain forests with temperatures between 26°C and 28°C; this is the right place to combine adventure with nature. Overnight at La Quinta de Sarapiqui lodge.

Day 2: Sarapiqui
After breakfast, a local bilingual guide will take you on a walking tour to La Selva Biological Station. The fauna is similarly diverse, large predators include jaguars, pumas, and bushmasters. Thousands of arthropod species are being currently recorded at La Selva, and more than 400 species of resident and migratory birds have been sighted in the reserve, representing almost half of Costa Rican bird species. Free afternoon to relax at the lodge or to explore the surroundings on your own. You can also take an optional tour if desired: Sarapiqui river boat ride, river rafting trip or hiking tour.Breakfast.

Day 3: Sarapiqui - Puerto Viejo, Limon
After breakfast, free morning to explore the hotel surroundings on your own or to take an optional tour: Sarapiqui river boat ride, river rafting trip or hiking tour.

In the afternoon, we will take you by private ground transfer to the province of Limon, in the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. The fascinating afro-caribbean culture, mainly a combination of Jamaican, Italian and Chinese immigrants predominates in this region and fills the atmosphere with very particular fragrances and rhythms. Overnight at Shawandha lodge. Breakfast.

Day 4: Puerto Viejo, Limon
After breakfast, free day to explore the area on your own or to take optional tours: canopy tour, horseback riding or biking tour. Overnight at Shawandha lodge. Breakfast.

Day 5: Puerto Viejo, Limon - Arenal
After breakfast, we will take you to Arenal by collective shuttle bus. This area offers a landscape composed by forests, lagoons, fields of crops, rivers with hot springs, and the most active volcano of Costa Rica: Arenal. Definitely a land of contrasts full of varied activity options. Late afternoon arrival to the hotel. Overnight at Arenal Paraiso hotel. Breakfast.

Day 6: Arenal
After breakfast, a local bilingual guide will take you on a tour to the Arenal hanging bridges. The trails and bridges of this project will bring you as close as you could ever hope to get to the birds, the flowers and the lush vegetation of the primary rain forest. You will be able to walk right into the forest, thanks to the imposing hanging bridges and the beautiful trails that are safe and easy to walk on.

In the afternoon, a local bilingual guide will take you on a through the Arenal volcano trails, followed by a relaxing experience at the Tabacon hot springs. See from up close the activities of the great colossus, its constant emissions of gases and vapors of water. A fabulous and healthful bath in the hot springs is the best way to end this day. Overnight at Arenal Paraiso hotel. Breakfast, dinner.

Day 7: Arenal - Monteverde
After breakfast, we will take you to Monteverde by collective shuttle bus and boat crossing on Arenal lake. The town of Monteverde, had its beginnings in the early 1950s with the impetus of a group of Quakers from the United States, a group that came to Costa Rica attracted by its pacific inclinations and disarmament. They established themselves in the region and devoted themselves to produce milk and quality cheeses.

Free afternoon to explore the surroundings on your own or to take optional adventure tours: Sky Trek (canopy tour), walkways (hanging bridges), ATV adventures or horseback riding. Overnight at Heliconia hotel. Breakfast.

Day 8: Monteverde
After breakfast, a local bilingual guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a hiking tour to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. This private biological reserve is dedicated to the conservation of the flora and fauna which exists in this complex ecosystem. The reserve consists of 10,000 hectares and serves as an important link in the growing network of protected areas in the country.

Free afternoon to explore the surroundings on your own or to take optional tours: Sky Trek (canopy tour), walkways (hanging bridges), ATV adventures or horseback riding. Overnight at Heliconia hotel. Breakfast.

Day 9: Monteverde - San Jose
After breakfast, free morning to relax at the hotel or to take optional activities. In the afternoon, we will meet you at the hotel to take you back to San Jose by collective shuttle bus. Once in the city, we will take you to your hotel in Heredia by private ground transfer. Overnight at Bougainvillea hotel. Breakfast.

Day 10: Fly out from San Jose
Today we will meet you at the hotel to take you to Juan Santamaría International Airport by private ground transfer, in time to meet your flight back home.
