An exhilarating tour which enables you to see in one week the essential and totally different attractions of Costa Rica - Arenal and its volcano and lake, the canals of Tortuguero teeming with wildlife.

Day 1: Arrive in San José
Upon arrival in Costa Rica, transfer from the San Jose International airport to the Hotel Britannia or similar.

Day 2: San Jose - Poas Volcano - La Paz
Today choose from one of the following full day tours:
a) Poás Volcano &  La Paz waterfall Gardens (Lunch)
b) Full Day Pacific Island Cruise (Light Breakfast & Lunch)
c) Full Day Reventazón River Rafting, Class III (Breakfast & Lunch)
Overnight accommodations at  Hotel Britannia or similar

Day 3: San José - Tortuguero
Today you will be met at your hotel by the guide for a 2 night 3 day trip to Tortuguero National Park.The group will be making a stop to have breakfast. Along the way you will have the chance to drive through the Braulio Carillo National Park, and enjoy the green scenery that surrounds this marvelous area.Upon arrival to the docks, you will be assisted onto the boats, and transferred up the main canal until reaching the area of Tortuguero,. Upon your arrival to the lodge, you will be received with a fruit cocktail, then assigned a room & lunch is served shortly after. The group guide will program the activities according to the group. Lodging and overnight at Pachira or Mawamba Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 4: Tortuguero
Following breakfast, the rest of the morning will be dedicated to guided visits to the smaller canals and the National Park of Tortuguero. Here you will be able to observe the vast amounts of bird, plant and animal life. Hopefull you can see the howler monkeys a species of this area. Lodging and overnight at Pachira or Mawamba Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 5: Tortuguero - Arenal
After breakfast, depart Tortuguero by boat along the same route that was used to enter. Enjoy the views, and relax until reaching the dock, where your air conditioned bus will be waiting. You will be assisted with all luggage being put on the bus. After leaving the banana plantations, stop for lunch, and then continue to Arenal. Visit the Tabacon hot mineral springs-SPA, where you will bathe in the natural pools at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. Dinner inside the hot springs, and overnight at one of the areas hotel.

Day 6: Arenal
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning a guide will meet you at your hotel where you will enjoy a tour of  the Peña Blanca Safari or sky tram & Sky trek tour. Enjoy the sights and the sounds of the rainforest and experience its peacefulness on hanging bridges, or enjoy a quietl paddle on the Peñas Blancas river. Monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and numerous tropical birds await. The professional bilingual guide will share with you educational and interesting explanations of the plants and animals we encounter on the float & sky tram & sky trek tours. overnight at one of the areas hotel.

Day 7: Arenal - San José
After breakfast, departure to San José. Lodging and overnight at Hotel Britannia or similar.

Day 8: Fly out from San Jose
After breakfast, your transfer will be waiting to take you to the San Jose International airport in time to meet you flight back home.
