Nature Air was
founded in 1991 by Conner Thomas and Charlie Warbelow, a couple
of bush pilots / businessmen from Alaska who had dedicated their
lives to flying and maintaining planes. After many personal trips
to Costa Rica, they identified the need for a domestic airline with
a real understanding for reliability, safety, quality service and
that could be regularly inspected by the FAA.
• For the past
12 years, we have flown over 200,000 scheduled and charter flights
into the Costa Rican wilderness, opening up new frontiers for adventure.
Costa Rica’s most experienced group of pilots
fly the only all twin-engine fleet in Costa Rica, offering climate
controlled cabins and vista-liner windows in our DeHaviland Twin-Otters
for unparalleled sight seeing.

Reservations:
All reservations are to be writing confirmed within 24 hours. If
for some reason your request has not been confirmed please assume
it was lost and contact us again. All reservations received
by 3:00 PM (Costa Rica Time) will be answered the same
day.

Nature Air representatives
are available every day, including Sundays and Holidays, from
7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. During the Green Season, Sundays and Holidays
until 4:00 PM.

Payment: We require prepayment
for all reservations in the form of check, credit card, cash
or account transfer. For 6 passengers or less, payment is required
8 days prior to date of departure. Charter flight payment is
required 15 days prior to date of departure. For flight requests
of fifteen days or less, payment is required no later than three
days after the request. All payments by direct deposit must
be guaranteed by your bank receipt via fax.

Cancellations: Cancellations
received 8 days or more prior to departure date will have no
penalty. Cancellations received 3 to 7 days prior to departure
date will have a 50% penalty. Cancellations received 1
to 2 days prior to departure date will have a 75% penalty.
In both cases they may be used in the "show and go"
program, or by paying 50% for a confirmed flight

Luggage: Each passenger
is allowed 25 pounds of baggage, including carry-ons. There
will be an additional charge for excess luggage. Storage facilities
are available at no charge. Nature Air responsibility
for loss of or damage to luggage will not exceed US $50.00
per piece. Oversize items such as surfboards, windsurfing
gear, bicycles and other similar items are subject to space
availability and pay an additional service charge.

Check In: Check-in is
required 45 minutes prior to departure of your flight at the
Pavas International Airport and 30 minutes prior to departure
of your flight at any of our destinations. All flights will
be closed 15 minutes prior to departure time. Any arrivals after
this time are to be considered as "No Shows".

Children: children under
the age of two sitting on their parents' lap will travel free
of charge. Children between the ages of of 2 and 11 pay 50%
of the fare. Children over the age of 12 pay full fare.

Nature Air Cancellations:
All cancellations made by Nature Air will be reimbursed
100%. Nature Air will assist the passengers in securing
other transportation arrangements. Nature Air
will not assume payment for lost flight arrangements or other
accommodations. Nature Air will be responsible
for transfers and accommodation if necessary when cancellation
is due to Nature Air Operations. Tickets are non-refundable
and non-transferable.
- Due to worldwide increase in fuel, starting June 3 we will be applying a $2.00
surcharge per segment to all passengers.
